V&S at the Aerospace Manufacturing Expo
V&S Engineering recently participated in the Aerospace Manufacturing Expo held at the Long Beach Convention Center in Long Beach, California. The event brought together leading manufacturers, suppliers, and engineers from across the aerospace and defense supply chain, providing a premier platform for V&S to showcase our precision CNC machining capabilities and connect with both existing partners and prospective customers. Our booth featured a selection of flight-qualified components that demonstrated our expertise in machining complex geometries from challenging materials including Inconel, titanium, and high-strength aluminum alloys.
The expo provided an invaluable opportunity to engage directly with procurement leaders, design engineers, and supply chain managers from major aerospace primes and tier-one suppliers. Conversations at our booth ranged from specific technical challenges — such as machining thin-wall structures and achieving consistent surface finishes on heat-resistant superalloys — to broader supply chain strategy discussions about diversifying sourcing, reducing lead times, and building long-term partnerships. Several of these discussions have already progressed to formal RFQ processes, and we're excited about the new program opportunities emerging from these connections.
Beyond customer engagement, the expo offered a window into the technology trends shaping the future of aerospace manufacturing. Industry presentations and equipment demonstrations highlighted the accelerating adoption of digital twin technology, advanced machine monitoring and predictive maintenance, and integrated CAD/CAM/CMM workflows that are transforming how precision components are designed, produced, and verified. These trends align closely with V&S's own technology investment strategy, and we returned from the event with fresh ideas for enhancing our digital manufacturing capabilities.
Events like the Aerospace Manufacturing Expo reinforce the importance of being present and active in the industry community. For V&S Engineering, participation goes beyond marketing — it's about staying connected to the evolving needs of our customers, learning from peers, and contributing to the collective advancement of aerospace manufacturing excellence. We look forward to future events and continuing to build the relationships that drive mutual success.
